Ba Be


Ba Bể Lake (Vietnamese: Hồ Ba Bể, Ba Bể meaning "Three Lakes" in the local Tay language) is the largest natural fresh water lake, stretching about 8 kilometers in the north-south direction. The surface area of the lake fluctuates between 3 and 5 km² between dry and wet season. Unlike many lakes in Karst limestone areas, Ba Bê Lake never falls dry. Its average depth varies between 17 and 23 meters

 

 

Itinerary: Hanoi, Ba Be National Park, Cash Dao Village, Na Nghe Village, Dau Dang, Hanoi.

Day 1: Hanoi - Ba Be National Park (B, L, D)

After breakfast in your hotel, your guide will pick you up to transfer to Ba Be National Park.

Ba Be Lake is our Natural World Heritage site which also called "halong Bay on Mountain" because its rather similar geography feature to Halong bay's limstorn and water.

After leave Hanoi about 80 km we will stop in Thai Nguyen City to visit Thai Nguyen museum of ethnology to know about different ethnic minority in the northern of Vietnam.

Following the visit of Thai Nguyen Museum of ethnology we will keep going to Ba Be where we will will stop for lunch at around 12pm to 1pm. After enjoy the local Lunch we will continue to Ba Be National Park to reach to the Tay Village in Ba Be at around 4pm, relaxing, enjoying dinner in homestay and stay for overnight in the Village.

Day 2: Full Day Trekking Tour (around 20 km) and stay in Cash Dao Village (B, L, D)

Have breakfast in homstay the we will leave for trekking, this will be an energetic and rewarding day of trekking. We will first stop in Coc Toc Village where the Tay people make their living from fishing.

Crossing the Pelu stream and cover rough terrain you will make your way to the up-lands and stop in the Nam Dai Village (home of the Cash Dao people) where you will have a picnic Lunch.

In the afternoon you will explore the surrounding area of delightful hills and valleys, see stilt houses and visit the school of the Cash Dao Childrends. You will enjoy the dinner and stay overnight in Na Nghe Village.

Day 3: Na Nghe Village - Dau Dang Waterfall (B, L, D)

After breakfast at the homestay you will say goodbye to the people of the village then we will follow to Nam Dai Village and continue throught to forest to visit the Dau Dang Waterfall which borders the two provinces of Bac Can and Tuyen Quang.

Lunch will be served in the restaurant in Dau Dang Village. After Lunch you will head up to Nang River by boat to visit Puong Cave, home to thousands of Bats of 18 differents species and site of fascinating formations of stalactites and stalagmites.

The River runs right through the cave and into the Babe Lake before to go back to the homestay to enjoy dinner and stay overnight.

 

 

Overnight in homestay on Pac Ngoi Village

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are include


 


Day 4: Dau Dang Village - Hanoi (B, L)

Have breakfast in the homestay and walk around the village discovering the inhabitants, then get on the car to go back to Hanoi.

On the way back stop in some beautiful places to take photo. We will enjoy the Lunch on the way, arrival Hanoi around 4pm.

End of the trip
