Day 1: Hanoi arrival (D)

After a warm welcome on arrival, transfer to the hotel in Hanoi. In the late afternoon, you will take an hour Cycle - tour viewing the charming French colonial architecture to the bustling Old Quarter and attend the performance of the unique water puppetry. Welcome dinner will be reserved at one of the best local restaurant in the city.

Day 2: Hanoi City Tour (B,L,D)

This morning, you will visit famous Ho Chi Minh complex comprising his Mausoleum, former residence, and the impressive house on stilts and view the One Pillar Pagoda. The One Pillar Pagoda, formally DiênHuu is a historic Buddhist temple. It is regarded alongside the Perfume Pagoda, as one of Vietnam's two most iconic temples. In the next step, you will learn more about the historical and cultural events at the peaceful Temple of Literature, known as the Vietnam’s first university since the 11th century.

In the afternoon, you will visit Ethnology museum, a museum that focuses on the 54 officially recognized. Back to the city central, you continue walking around HoanKiem Lake and visiting Ngoc Son Temple which to be the heart of Vietnam.

Enjoy the water puppet show(special traditional show in Vietnam, enjoy the Vietnamese Diner before leave for the night train to Laocai.

Day 03: Lao Cai– Bac Ha market (only on Sunday) - Sapa (B, L)

Arrival in Lao Cai railway station in the early morning.

Enjoy breakfast at a local restaurant then transfer to Bac Ha market.

This Sunday the market is attended by many ethnic groups, including the colorful FloyourH’Mong, Tay and San Chi minorities. The hive of activity and colors at the market is really something to see. Lunch is severed at local restaurant then transfer to Sa Pa.

Day 04: Sa Pa – Ta Van Village – Cat Cat Village, night train (B, L)

Trek deeper into the mountains to Ta Van village where you can see the H.Mong, Zay, Dao... dressed in the traditional costume that is unique to the Northern region. Witness a truly simple but traditional way of life that exists as it has done for centuries. You tour their villages and traditional houses surrounded by the beauty of nature as well as enjoying the hill tribe hospitality before you return to the town. Continue to visit Cat Cat village H’mong people.

In the late afternoon transfer to Lao Cai railway station for overnight train to Hanoi.

Day 05: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay (B, L, D)

Arrival at Hanoi railway station in the early morning.

Meet our guide then transfer to a mini hotel for breakfast and shower before departure to Ha Long Bay, listed as a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. “Dragon descending to the sea“ as it is known in Vietnamese, picturesque Ha Long Bay has more than 1.000 limestone islets rising from the sea, many of them containing beautiful grottoes.

12:00 Check in to the Junk for our overnight boat cruise discovering this magnificent UNESCO World Wonder.

This is a great journey among surreal islands rising from a tranquil emerald sea.

The Junk adds to the experience for an overnight stay and fresh seafood meals. This is a truly memorable experience. Without a doubt Ha Long Bay is a destination in Vietnam that should not be missed.

13:00: Have lunch on board and then you will have a fantastic cruise on Ha Long Bay.
