SAPA– BAC HA MARKET Package

Bac Ha Market is in Bac Ha District and belong to Lao Cai Province, 80km from Sa Pa town and over 1hour by car.Bac Ha is one of the biggest Market on Sa Pa and open on Sunday only. It’s not only the trading center but it’s also the place for couples, friends and relatives.At this market every thing on sales: Pig, dog, and cat, so it makes this market hotter on Sunday.

Sa Pa has many natural sites such as Ham Rong Mountain, Silver Waterfall, RattanBridge, Bamboo Forest and Ta Phin Cave.Sapa is also the starting point for many climbers and scientists who want to reach the top of FansipanMountain, the highest mountain in Vietnam at 3,143m.

Hoang Lien Mountain Range is also called the Alps of the North Sea area since Fansipan Mountain is not only the highest peak in Vietnam, but also in the Indochina Peninsula. The pyramid-shaped mountain is covered with clouds all year round and temperatures often drop below zero, especially at high elevations.

Itinerary: Hanoi, Bac Ha Market, Sa Pa – Sa Pa, Hanoi.

Day 1: Hanoi arrival

On arrival at Hanoi Intl airport met by our guide then transferred to station for night train to Lao Cai

Day 2: Lao Cai-Bac Ha market-Sa Pa (B, L, D)

Early in the morning you will arrival Lao Cai railway station you will have breakfast there and go to the Bac Ha market for two hours by a van (AC). This is the largest market in the region, a place where many ethnic groups gather to buy and sell, eat and drink together.

There are 10 minority groups in the Bac Ha region. You can buy homemade handicrafts and clothes.

Day 3: Sa Pa (B, L, D)

Please choose 02 options for trekking:

Option 1: Sa Pa- Cat Cat – Sin Chai – Sa Pa (B, L, D)

After having breakfast in a hotel, we star walking to Cat Cat and Sin Chai villages in the bottom of MuongHoa valley.  Enjoy the spectacular views of the beautiful valley towards FansiPan – highest peak in Vietnam and Indochina. Go through a village of Black H’mong tribe, see people weaving and embroidering their clothes, enjoy colorful rice terraces and the interesting waterfall. Bus ride returns to Sa Pa.

Take a fresh shower in the hotel before heading to Lao Cai train station for the night train back to Hanoi*.

Option 2: Sa Pa – Lao Chai – Ta Van (B, L, D)

After having breakfast, trekking through lush rice – terraces towards Lao Chai village, enjoy delicious lunch in the local house near by Muong Hoa River, experiencing Black H’mong people’s daily life and traditional culture. Next cross suspension bridges as you walk through Lao Chai village to Ta Van village inhabited by Zay minorities exhibiting strong Chinese culture. Bus ride returns to Sa Pa.

Take a fresh shower in the hotel before heading to Lao Cai train station for the night train back to Hanoi*.

*Night: Get on the night train to come back to Hanoi ,arrival train station in Hanoi around 5 am, the Guide and Driver will pick you up then drop you to the hotel.
